May 21, 2010 – Day 37

Road Trip of Burgers

May 21, 2010

The first half-day of the road trip consisted of Hardee’s thick burgers: 1400 heart clogging calories. The boys bragged about it’s nearly 1 pound of meat, beef and bacon combined. Thank goodness I practiced restrained (although it was more like revulsion). That meant the next day I was able to have a delicious butter burger at Culvers, while two of the other guys didn’t eat all day; revenge of the Hardee’s thickburger.

Culvers

As a result of the company, most of my photos on this trip ended up being food related.
The next day – which I counted as day 1 of the trip was a reckless shopping spree that left me bereft of all my money.

  1. The bun of the burger looks greasy and gross…. but those popper things look cheesy and delish.

No, it was actually really great!! It wasn’t greasy at all! I got chipotle and regular poppers, and only the regular ones were good.
